About the event
Founder's Day in Paris, Maine, is an annual event held to support the Hamlin Memorial Library and Museum. FMI hamlin.lib.me.us The 46th Founder's Day is scheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
A highlight of the event is the Bahre Collection of antique and classic cars, which is showcased at the birthplace of Hannibal Hamlin, Abraham Lincoln's first vice-president. This collection, accessible to the public only during Founder's Day, features over fifty vehicles, including:
One of the world's finest assemblages of Packards, featuring Dietrich and LeBaron V-windshield body styles from 1932-34, a unique front-wheel-drive prototype sedan, and a 1906 Model S touring car.
American classics such as Duesenbergs, Cadillacs, Stutz, and Graham-Paige.
Foreign classics including Delahaye, Isotta Fraschini, Hispano-Suiza, Mercedes-Benz, and Alfa-Romeo.
